Bharat Ratna for former PM PV Narasimha Rao

 

Bharat Ratna: Narasimha Rao Garu's tenure as Prime Minister was marked by significant measures that opened India to global markets, fostering a new era of economic development, the PM said in a post on X.

NV Subhash, the grandson of late Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, slammed the Gandhi family on Friday after the Centre announced Bharat Ratna for the iconic politician, saying "PM Modi has conferred PV Narasimha Rao even though hr belongs to the Congress party. Now, I blame the UPA government, especially the Gandhi family. Froom 2004 to 2014, when the UPA government was in power at the centre, leave alone Bharat Ratna, leave alone any awards, the gandhi family was very very instrumental in making Narasimha Rao a scapegoat for the failures of the congress party", subhash, a BJP leader, said.

Expressing his happiness, NV Subhash Rao said that "I am really delighted that after a long due Narasimha Rao has got the Bharat Ratna. I am very happy and thankful to Modi ji. His contribution is been ignored for long," grandson of PV Narasimha Rao, NV Subhash Rao told to media.
